As Croatia became yesterday the 28th member of the European Union, TermCoord would like to warmly welcome all Croatians and especially its language unit at the European Parliament in Luxembourg.
The help of our Croatian colleagues from the different institutions in terminological work has been invaluable as, since the creation of the interinstitutional terminology database IATE, a total of 7533 Croatian terms have been entered.
Always CroActive, the EP team has been the pilot unit in implementing and using the terminology wiki TermCoord is preparing for every language on the new interinstitutional terminology portal.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank them for their constant and outstanding cooperation in the development of terminology at the European Parliament and their delivery of expertise.
They’ve been for the past years very pleasant neighbours on the 6th floor of our building and we hope our neighbourhood will be long and prosperous.
