2029

This week’s Wednesday Video Fix is a presentation given by Steven Pinker, well-known experimental psychologist and one of the world’s foremost writers on language, mind, and human nature.

Steven Pinker is Harvard College Professor and Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University. He conducts research on language and cognition, writes for publications such as the New York Times, Time and The New Republic, and is the author of eight books, including Language Learnability and Language Development, Language Instinct, Words and Rules, and The Stuff of Thought.

In this video, Pinker explains how language expresses what goes on in our mind and how our choice of words reflects much more than we think.
