TermCoord links up with Frank Dietz

2053

glossaryFrank Dietz, a Texas-based English to German translator specialising in technical translation and software localisation, has a collection of more than 2,500 glossary links, covering areas such as agriculture, mathematics, telecommunication and more. As TermCoord is dedicated to providing translators and other interested persons with high quality glossaries in different domains, Frank Dietz’ collection proved a rich resource for finding new glossaries to add to TermCoord’s collection.

While many glossaries, such as the Terms and Acronyms used by the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the Glossary of Political Economy Terms by Dr. Paul M. Johnson of Auburn University, were already included the Terminology Coordination Unit’s collection, over 120 useful new glossaries were uploaded. A few noteworthy examples are the International Glossary of Hydrology, the Diabetes Dictionary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, a Chromatography Glossary and a glossary of IMF Terminology.
