On the 3rd June 2016, Rodolfo Maslias was invited to attend the 6th Conference of the National Language Council of Lithuania, and to present terminology management in the European Parliament, as well as cooperation with other EU Institutions.
The 120 members present were also informed about the new possibilities of cooperating on-line on a language level with EU translators through the Lithuanian wiki linked to EurTerm, the interinstitutional terminology portal.
They were also given information about terminology projects with Universities organised by TermCoord in cooperation with the Lithuanian Translation unit of the EP, intended to enrich the Lithuanian terminology in IATE.
Terminology on migration being the main topic of the session, TermCoord presented the resources available in this field through specific examples of research undertaken in the Lithuanian language.
