On 22 April 2016 the Head of the Terminology Coordination Unit of DG TRAD (European Parliament), Rodolfo Maslias, participated in a Remote International Conference about “Terminology and Translation” organised by the Department of Greek Language and Translation of the Faculty of Greek Philology of the Mariupol State University, Ukraine.
He also had the honour to be invited to open the Conference with his welcome speech for all participants. The title of his subsequent presentation which he gave in Greek was “Terminology: A Communicative and Academic Approach”.
Like all the other speakers he connected via Skype with the University and succeeded despite all technical constraints to establish an interactive dialogue with the audience who were very interested in the subject he presented. The following universities participated in this event:
