Final call for presentations – European Terminology Summit 2016

The call for presentations for the Open Sessions of the eighth European Terminology Summit is closing today.
Today is thus your final chance to submit your presentations and to share your experiences in the field of terminology.
Presentations should focus on one of the topics covered in previous summits (Cooperation & Collaboration, Social Media, Quality Matters, Responsibility, Interaction and Diversity, Terminology Profile, State Of The Art/Domain Loss, Declaration).

An abstract in English or French, as well as in your national language must be sent by the end of the day to the EAFT Secretariat on term@eaft-aet.net together with:

  • Name/names of the speakers
  • Institution

Notifications of acceptance will be sent out to successful candidates by the 9th September.

This year’s summit, organised by the European Association for Terminology (EAFT) in collaboration with TermCoord will be held in Luxembourg on 14-15th November 2016.

The topic for this summit is: Visions and Revisions, celebrating 20 years of the EAFT and looking forward to the future of terminology.
