Every now and then TermCoord publishes an interview with a well-known terminologist. Today’s interview takes us to Switzerland. Adrian Wymann (1964) studied General Linguistics, Sociology and Korean Studies in Bern and Zurich and wrote his PhD about „The Expression of Modality in Korean“(1996). After several years as a research assistant at the University of Berne and as a research associate for various Swiss federal offices he became Director of the department Work and Integration of the Federal Office for Migration. In 2011 he switched to the Federal Chancellery and since then he holds the function of the Head of the Terminology section and has significantly contributed to development of the Swiss terminology database TERMDAT.
