The TransELTE 2018 is ELTE-OFFI’s (Eötvös Loránd University – Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd.) 20th Annual Conference of Translators and Interpreters will take place on 22 and 23 March 2018. This annual conference has traditionally been a high profile event for Hungarian interpreters, translators and their community with more than 400 registered participants. This year’s event is a special occasion since ELTE’s Translator and Interpreter Training Department is celebrating the 45th anniversary of its foundation.
Last year TermCoord presented the terminology in the European Parliament and the interinstitutional cooperation around IATE.
As you can see from the Programme, the EU is very present also this year, the European Parliament represented by: Agnieszka Walter-Drop, Director General, DG LINC, and Alison Graves, Head of the Multilingualism and External Relations Unit, DG TRAD, and the European Commission by Alexandra Panagakou, Director, DG SCIC and Marcin Kotwicki, Head of Quality Assurance, DGT.
