Interested in current affairs? Then you cannot miss this section where every Friday we choose the “IATE Term of the week”.
How exactly does the TermCoord team proceed when choosing the relevant term?
The primary source of information is the EP agenda reflecting the current topics discussed in the European Parliament, as well as several other sources reporting the daily work of the EU. So, the IATE term of the week is always directly related to what is happening in the world, and especially current European affairs.
The weekly post consists of a short documented presentation of the topic and a screenshot of the corresponding entry in IATE.
TermCoord always welcomes and follows up any feedback you might want to send about the term in your own language.
