TermCoord is happy to announce that the terminology project with the University of Vigo (Galicia, Spain) is now available online for you to view on our website.

The Master’s thesis, by the University of Vigo graduate Lía García Vila, provides an analysis of the terminology present in the Council Framework Decision of 13 June 2002 on the European Arrest Warrant and the surrender procedures between Member States (2002/584/JHA). Furthermore, it provides the transfer of the original text to the target text in Spanish, the Decisión Marco del Consejo de 13 de junio de 2002 relativa a la Orden de detención europea y a los procedimientos de entrega entre Estados miembros (2002/584/JHA). The analysis is focused on two specific groups of terms: the offences referred to and the participants of the process. This thesis aims to find out which terms are registered in IATE database, which ones should be added and whether some information is missing.
