Short presentation of the project

The students of the Master of Translation at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria, worked on Bulgarian terms of energy efficient items and supplies. Their findings have been already validated by the terminologists of the Bulgarian translation unit and mostly imported into IATE. The project was submitted at the end of 2014.

Project Coordinator

Boris Naimushin, Associate Professor of Translation & Interpreting, New Bulgarian University in Sofia

Boris_NaimushinHe graduated from Sofia University with and MA in Bulgarian and English Language, and the School of Translation and Interpreting (ETI), University of Geneva, Switzerland with a MA of Advanced Studies in Interpreter Training, he has a Ph.D. in Liguistics. Currently he is Associate Professor of Translation and Interpreting, and the Head of the Department of English Studies. His fields of teaching and research are Theory and Practice of Translation and Interpreting; Conference Interpreting, Intercultural Communication; Contrastive Linguistics, Foreign Language Teaching. He is the author of several publications in Bulgarian, English and Russian on translation, interpretation and social and cultural aspects thereof.
