Short presentation of the project
This project was carried out by students of the Bachelor’s degree programme Product Design and Technical Communication at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (School of Engineering, Wels). The aim of the project was to prepare a glossary on machining technology according to relevant standards and other specialist literature. For this purpose, terminology work was done for about 120 selected concepts. Finally, the results included terms, definitions and contexts in German and English and were transmitted with corresponding source citations for the IATE database.
