npldHow to develop true linguistic diversity? How can we improve the promotion of linguistic diversity at a European level? Do we need a new road map for languages in Europe? These are some of the questions that will be discussed during a debate organised by the Network to Promote Linguistic Diversity (NPLD). During the debate, which will take place on 21 February in Brussels, there will be presented a comparative study about how governments of different European countries promote the use of their languages.

This meeting will also involve speakers from the European Parliament and the Commission besides the representatives of language communities.
