Maria José Palos Caravina, terminology coordinator at the CdT, and currently on an interinstitutional exchange in TermCoord, held today a workshop on the management of terminology projects at the Translation Centre.
The topic raised the interest of many colleagues from the Parliament and from the other institutions: around 100 people joined the workshop, some of whom followed it through videoconference from Brussels, from the Parliament’s and the Council’s premises.
After a general overview of the CdT, its clients and tasks, the participants could hear in more detail about how the Translation Centre manages and coordinates the terminology of the 58 agencies, including the complex workflow, the used methodologies and tools, the current projects, as well as the means of quality assurance.
