Language is a vast concept that doesn’t possess a fixed meaning, it changes according to the personal, historical and social background of the people, communities and countries. Even though some words and phrases are similar in different languages, it also happens that we find the called “false friends”. Furthermore, each culture has specific sayings and expressions that developed along with the social history of each society. How much do you think you know about the languages of the world?
