The presentation ‘Driving Global Revenue through Multilingual Knowledge Systems (MKS)’ was elaborated by Michael Wetzel, Managing Director and co-founder at Coreon GmbH, an interinstitutional language software provider.

It was presented during the 20th European Symposium on Languages for Special Purposes on Multilingualism in Specialized Communication: Challenged and Opportunities in the Digital Age, which took place last summer in the Centre for Translation Studies, University of Vienna (Austria).

Michael Wetzel is well known in the world of terminology for being the Product Manager of TRADOS/SDL MultiTerm. Besides he works as a Senior Product Manager in ESTeam AB and Coreon GmbH, as it has already been mentioned above. His focus is on merging concept-oriented terminology management, taxonomy and ontology products. As a member of the LISA/OSCAR standardization consortium Michael contributed to the TBX and OLIF standards. He focuses on everything product by leveraging his long term experience in team and product management, standardization, and problem solving.
