Living in a foreign country without being fluent in its language can be quite frustrating itself, but surely things get much more complicated when it comes to starting a relationship with someone whose mother tongue is not the same as yours. While some people believe this is the best and fastest way to learn a language quickly (and, of course, it does help), there will inevitably be misunderstandings and communication issues that might be very discouraging on occasions.
