Termcoord European Election Countdown: Polling Station

1617

European elections start today 23rd of May until the 26th of May 2019 and all adult EU citizens have a chance to choose who will represent them in the European Parliament.

Some aspects of the voting rules vary by country, such as the possibility to vote by mail or from abroad. You can check with your national election authority in order to find out who the candidates are and where your local polling station is.

If you live in your home country, you can only vote for the EU candidates standing for election in your own country.

If you are registered and live in another EU country, you can either vote for candidates standing in your home country or participate in the election of your host country and vote for candidates standing in that country. You can only vote once at the European elections.

You may take the Match your vote quiz to check which politicians, national parties and EU political groups match your views based on their true actions.
