It is indeed very fascinating when the old meets the new. If the ancient meets the pioneering the result cannot be but astonishing. It feels really reassuring to notice that the solution we are seeking for new problems has been already founds many centuries ago.
Remembering seems to be more comfortable than understanding.
This human tendency let us assume sometimes things which are not true at all, or at least not completely. Have you ever heard about NASA’s interest for the Sanskrit language flourished back in the 80’s?
The following video tries at first to highlight the relationship between Sanskrit and computer programming taking in consideration how much the computational linguistics is improved in the last decades and what exactly the NASA researcher Rick Briggs stated in his breakthrough article.
