Présentation du projet ISIT
Le livre électronique Racontez-moi la terminologie… a été créé par cinq étudiantes de l’ISIT (Institut de management et de communication interculturels) dans le cadre
de leur master en communication interculturelle et traduction.
Sous la direction de Pascale Elbaz, les étudiantes ont réalisé la traduction vers le français de treize entretiens avec des terminologues reconnus présents sur le site de
TermCoord. Ce travail, qui leur a permis d’approfondir leurs connaissances en matière de terminologie, est désormais disponible sur notre site.
Tutrice du projet
Pascale Elbaz est titulaire d’une maîtrise de philosophie de la Sorbonne (Paris IV) et d’un doctorat en langue et culture chinoises de l’INALCO. Elle est enseignante-chercheuse en
terminologie (générale et spécialisée) et en traduction du chinois vers le français à l’ISIT, une école de traduction et d’interprétation à Paris. Elle est également formatrice en langue
et culture chinoises chez ChinForm et traductrice du chinois (Éditions Horizon oriental).
Tell me about terminology….
It is an applied research project carried out by Master Students in Intercultural Communication and Translation at ISIT
Presentation of the project
The e-book Tell Me about Terminology was created within the framework of the ISIT Master’s Degree program in Intercultural Communication and Translation. The students performed the translation of the thirteen interviews they conducted with recognized terminologists – hosted on the website of TermCoord- under the direction of Pascale Elbaz. This process, allowed them to work closely with specialists and deepen their knowledge in terminology and general terminological issues.
Project tutor
Pascale Elbaz holds a master’s degree in philosophy from the Sorbonne (Paris IV) and a PhD in Chinese Language and Culture from INALCO. She is a researcher in Terminology (general and specialized) and in Chinese and French Translation at ISIT in Paris. She is also a Chinese language and culture trainer at ChinForm and a Chinese translator at Éditions Horizon Oriental.
