XXVIII International Conference of the Italian Association for Terminology (Ass.I.Term), organised by Daniela Vellutino for the Department of Political, Social Sciences and Communication of the University of Salerno, aims to present the most important study references and the most significant experiences related to the dynamics of institutional communication in Italy and Europe.
A comparison between scholars and information and communication professionals from national and European institutions to reflect on the languages of the European Union, the use of English and specialised terminologies in institutional contexts and the creation of language resources for the digital PA.
Terminologists, linguists, language historians and communication experts talk about it: Roberto Guarasci, President of Ass.I.Term, Daniela Vellutino, Sergio Lubello, Marica Lo Nostro, Licia Corborante, terminologist, Barbara Altomonte and Massimo Persotti of the Department for European Policies, Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Rodolfo Maslias, head of the Terminology Coordination Unit of the DG Translation of the European Parliament, Gabriele Ciasullo, of the Agency for Digital Italy and the essayist Annamaria Testa.
On Friday 18th, Ottavio Lucarelli, President of the Order of Journalists of Campania, will open the meeting for the journalists´ training day.
The Italian language is discussed as a common good, remembering Tullio De Mauro´s lesson with Annibale Elia, Silvana Ferreri, Annamaria Testa, Grazia Basile, Francesca M. Dovetto.
