Rodolfo Maslias – Head of TermCoord

Born in 1957 in Thessaloniki (GR). Studied languages (mainly German, French, Spanish) and law. Post-graduate in German classical theater. Translator at the EP since 1981. ECQA certified terminology manager. Created TermCoord in 2008. Worked in secondment in cultural posts in Greece (a.o. Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Culture, Cultural Advisor to the Mayor of Athens). Visiting Professor for Terminology in several universities (a.o. Luxembourg, Italy, France, Spain).

Ida Mareckova – Communication Team Coordinator

Born in Slovakia. Translation and Interpretation studies at Comenius University in Bratislava, then completed post-graduate studies in Law and a PhD in German linguistics.  Ida came to Luxembourg in 2003, working as a translator in the Slovak Translation Unit until April 2007. From 2007, she worked in the PreTrad Unit before joining the TermCoord team in December 2018. Apart from various activities with her small son, Ida likes to swim, practising yoga and reading.

Theodora Dourda – IT Coordinator

Born in 1964 in Germany, but of Greek nationality. Translation studies at Heidelberg University. 1989-1997 translator in the German unit, 1997-2008 IT Unit.

Clara Machado – Assistant IATE, Helpdesk

Clara was born in Portugal and holds a degree in Languages, Literature and Culture from the Faculdade de Letras, University of Porto. She worked in the Analysis and Documentation Unit of the Translation Directorate of the Court of Justice. ECQA certified terminology manager.

Violina Stamtcheva-Andreeva – IATE Coordinator

Bulgarian, Master’s degree in German and English philology in Sofia and Berlin, PhD in translation studies in Vienna. 2007-2010 a translator in the Bulgarian unit. ECQA certified terminology manager.

Darija Brinc – IATE Coordinator

Daria Brinc, born in Slovenia, studied English and German and the University of Ljubljana. 2009-2015 translator and terminologist in the Slovenian translation unit. ECQA certified terminology manager.

Mercedes Mosquera Gonzalez – Administrative Assistant

Born in 1972 in Bonn, Germany. 1989-2016 lived in Madrid and studied at the Mary Ward College in Madrid for an International Executive Assistant degree.

Daniel Puppan – Linguistic Coordinator

Born in Hungary. Studied chemical engineering at the Technical University in Budapest, then post-graduate studies in economics at the University of Economic Sciences in Budapest. He obtained a professional qualification in translation and interpreting  at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. For 2 years he worked for the University of San Francisco in the environmental management programme in Budapest. He came to Luxembourg in 2003 and worked as a translator in the Hungarian Translation Unit until February 2010. From 2010 until 2017 he worked as a client liaison officer in the Planning Unit. He was in charge of economic and scientific policies and DG EPRS. In TermCoord he is a member of the IATE team and he deals with Codict.

Božena Rudolf

Born In Slovenia, studied Theology at the University of Ljubljana, then post-graduate studies  in Political Science (American Studies). She started to work at the Council of the European Union in Brussels till July 2005, when she came to the EU Parliament in Luxemborg. She joined the Planning Unit as an assistant, dealing mainly with translation requests for the Committees, DG TRAD, Political Groups, Policy Departments and the Ombudsman. With the 1st of May 2019, she moved into a new service and became a member of the Terminology Coordination Team. Before entering into the EU Community field, she worked for the General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic Slovenia, Office for Religious Communities and prior to that for the Ministry of Agriculture (Department for EU and International Affairs), starting earlier at the main Institute for the Public Health of the State. As a young student she travelled around the whole Europe as a tourist guide, worked for the local Cabel TV, liked being involved into political presidential and parlamentarium campaignes. She still likes to travel, visit a new places, play a guitar, doing some sports and riding her new electronical scooter.

Daniela Ramalho Da Silva – Rotating Terminologist

Born in 1983 in Alcobaça, Portugal. Studied modern languages and literatures – English, German and Dutch – and afterwards Translation Studies in those languages. After an internship at the European Central Bank’s Portuguese unit, she worked as a freelance translator, mainly for Portuguese agencies but also for the ECB as an external translator. In 2012, moved to Villach, in the south of Austria, where she continued to translate from home and later also taught Portuguese as a Heritage Language. She moved to Luxembourg in the end of 2017 to join the Portuguese Translation Unit at the Parliament. Besides Terminology and CAT tools, her passions are cinema and calligraphy.


Eva Gozlan

Born in 1995 in France, Eva obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages and is currently validating her Master’s degree in Translation and International Communication at ISIT School. She carried out two projects with Termcoord before joining as a trainee, “Smart Cities” for IATE in 2019 and “Racontez-moi la culture Européenne” in 2020.

Janna Mack

Born and raised in multilingual and multicultural Luxembourg, Janna speaks Luxembourgish, German, French, and English. She has degrees in Linguistics, Education, and Translation from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. She has experience in teaching English as a foreign language, administration, and web development. In her spare time, she enjoys art history, painting, and films.

Maria Papamargariti

She holds a Bachelor in Greek Language and Literature (Philology) and a Bachelor in English Language and Literature, both from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has published three books in the field of children’s literature, Books publication link. She speaks English, French and Greek. At present, she is completing her Master Studies in Learning and Communication in Multilingual and Multicultural Contexts in the University of Luxembourg.

Lara Karlović

Born in Croatia, Lara obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Tourism. Over the time she developed an interest in marketing which led to her earning a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communications. Lara has experience working in digital marketing; mainly project management, social media and SEO content writing. She enjoys traveling, writing and photography.


Diandra Falchieri

Born in 1995 in Bologna (Italy) she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation and a Master’s Degree in Specialized Translation at the University of Bologna. She also completed the Communication Trend Italia (CTI) Professional Master’s Programme for translators and interpreters in Medicine & Pharmacology in Milan. Diandra has experience as a specialised translator in the medical, legal and technical fields.

Victoria Milhan

Born in Germany, of German and British nationality, Victoria was brought up bilingually. She studied Linguistics, Literary Studies and Cultural Studies. Victoria holds a Magistra Artium (M.A.) degree in English language and medieval literature, newer English literature and Celtic Studies from Bonn University in Germany. The main focus of her studies was on diachronic and synchronic linguistics as well as British literature. Always eager to learn, she obtained certificates as an online editor, content manager and social media manager after her studies and has worked in these fields in Germany. Victoria enjoys dancing, photography and music.

Marina Niceforo

Marina Niceforo graduated in Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures from the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, and she holds a PhD in “European Languages and Specialized Terminology” from the University of Naples “Parthenope”. She works as fixed-term lecturer at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, where she teaches English Language and Linguistics, and Translation.

Magdalena Sikorska

Magdalena Sikorska holds a Bachelor in Italian Language and Literature as well as master’s degrees in Journalism and Social Communication and Polish Philology. Born and raised in Poland, she is passionate about multilingualism, photography, and non-fiction literature.
