As second topic, we would like to discuss Social Media and Terminology, which was the focus of the EAFT Terminology Summit in Barcelona on 27 and 28 November (“How does social networking affect terminology work? In recent years social networks have burst into life, and into our work lives, too. Terminological work and its dissemination are no exception. This is why we have thought it would be interesting for the international terminology community to open a debate about the impact of social media on all spheres of terminology work, from research all the way through to dissemination”). What are you thoughts on it? Any example or best practice from your own working experience or from your country you would like to share? Write your contribution and let us know where we can read it by 10th January.
