IATE Term of the Week: Net Neutrality

Net neutrality

On 18 March, the European Parliament’s industry committee approved a proposal to protect the principle of net neutrality. This proposal is part of the telecommunications reforms published in September 2013 and is intended to ensure that all data are treated equally, regardless of origin or destination.

For this reason, we have chosen “net neutrality” as our Term of the Week. Find out more about this topic with this article and with this glossary. MEPs will vote on this controversial topic on 3 April.

A terminologist for the language in question will revise your answer and decide whether to validate them. Given the implications of the process, a delay is to be expected.
