WEu14o_r_400x400The International Annual Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology (JIAMCATT) is part of the Working Group on Language Services of the International Annual Meeting on Language Arrangements, Documentation and Publications (IAMLADP). The meeting took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York last week. It was attended by about 150 managers and staff members from 70 international organisations, who exchanged ideas and best practices regarding terminological resources, machine translation and toolboxes for translators and other language professions. Besides the presentations delivered in the main conference room, several discussion groups and workshops were organized in parallel, including a technical session for machine translation developers.
