From 6 September to 11 September we ran a survey on Facebook and Twitter asking our followers which term they thought had been one of the most searched in IATE from April to June 2017. The choices were: crop diversification, taxable good and criminal proceedings. Read on to find out which one.
The most searched term was crop diversification. IATE defines crop diversification as the “obligation under the CAP for a farmer to cultivate at least 2 crops when his arable land exceeds 10 hectares and at least 3 crops when his arable land exceeds 30 hectares.”
Here you can see the entry for crop diversification in IATE:
Even though crop diversification was the correct answer, only 14.29% of our followers chose this option. 28.57% answered taxable good, while 57.14% answered criminal proceedings.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to answer our survey.
We also encourage you to check our IATE Term of the Week posts.
Enjoy terminology learning and have a nice week!
