The first online edition of the Terminology Summer School (TSS 2020) was a very well organised and successful event.
This year, the main topic of the TSS was dedicated to terminology in the context of translation. During the 4 conference days, participants had the possibility to join many interesting lectures, case studies and workshops with an active participation of groups during the regular break-out sessions.
The programme was very well designed for all possible needs and expectations of the participants, be it the ECQA certification or pure professional interest.
Each day was dedicated to a particular topic. On the first day, lectures and workshops were oriented towards Professional Terminology Management in Theory and Practice. Terminology, Quality, Machine and Web Translation were the programme topics for the second conference day. The third day of the conference was dedicated to various case studies on terminology strategies, tools and technology. On the fourth day, the Summer School participants had the chance to learn more about the ECQA certificates and exams.
