The European Parliament’s Open Data Portal is a new initiative which was created to promote transparency and greater citizen engagement by making the European Parliament (EP) more open and accessible to citizens and organisations who wish to gain a better understanding of EP’s activities and/or reuse EP’s data, and this in all 24 EU languages! Imagine all the multilingual terminology you can find there!
There are already 195 datasets online, which make plenary session documents, adopted legal texts and data about Members easily available in open, free and reusable formats, and more may be added thanks to your input since users can also interact on the platform in one of these three sections:
